Personal Statement
I work with adults across the lifespan. I have a particular interest in emerging adults, adults in mid-life, parents, and partners in long-term relationships. Among other things, I help clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, shame, fear, and self-doubt. Ultimately, therapy is about empowerment, and I am passionate about empowering my clients to live a meaningful, fully embodied life. Much of my work involves helping clients improve their self-awareness, self-compassion, and curiosity towards self and others. My approach to therapy is relational and grounded unconditional acceptance. It is my biggest priority that clients feel safe, fully seen, and accepted in the therapy room. I’m committed to developing a nuanced understanding of you, uniquely, and I will always approach our work together with humility, compassion, curiosity, and gentle humor. I’m committed to practicing therapy in a holistic and culturally competent way; one that honors, celebrates, and seeks to understand your unique social identities and how these shape your life.
