Eva (She/ hers) is a master’s student at Northwestern University’s Counseling program. Before her graduate program she received her B.A. from Denison University in Communication. Eva has spent time working in public school districts and educational non-profits alongside students to achieve their educational, emotional, and personal goals. These prior opportunities led her to pursue counseling as a career.

Eva believes that counseling is first and foremost a collaborative relationship between client and therapist built on trust and empathy. She is trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), psychodynamic framework, strength based, solution focused therapies. She is attentive, inquisitive, and compassionate. Billing under supervision, Eva is an in-network provider for BCBS of IL PPO, and sees clients on a sliding scale.

I realize that everyone is unique, and will have different wants and needs within the counseling setting.
