Personal statement:
Choosing a counselor is a profoundly personal choice and it can be confusing,
scary, especially for people trying it out for the first time. I believe that by
approaching my clients with understanding, empathy, and support, I create a
collaborative environment of emotional and psychological safety in which my

clients feel comfortable and secure. It is through the trust built in that relationship
that the door to healing opens.

I believe that we all have the tools within ourselves to grow and heal. Using a
psychodynamic, relational, holistic approach, I help clients discover those tools,
utilize their strengths, and develop insight into their struggles to make authentic
choices in their lives.
