At times, life can feel stressful, overwhelming, and difficult to manage without support. Allow me to be your ally as we navigate these struggles, working together to identify your specific needs and stride towards therapeutic goals. I believe in fostering a safe and comfortable environment for all of my clients, taking a strengths-based and person-centered approach in order to meet each client where they are at.

Currently, I am working as a therapist in an adolescent partial hospitalization program. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, with a focus on depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and school and social stressors. I have also worked as an academic tutor for 5 years and have incorporated treating academic and test anxiety into my work as a therapist. I work with adults as well and collaborate with my clients to help them cope with life changes, work stress, and relationship issues.

I utilize therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness. Above all else, I take a humanistic approach, working with you to figure out the best modality for your needs. I have experience in trauma-informed care as well as with the LGBTQ community. As a social worker, I believe in the importance of the person-in-environment model, understanding how a client’s external circumstances (relationships, socioeconomic status, family system, etc.) affect their overall mental well-being. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University and a Master’s Degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.
