Liza is a licensed clinical social worker who provides individual, couples, and family therapy to adolescents and adults of all ages. Liza earned her graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from University of Chicago and her bachelors degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Penn State.

Previously, Liza has been working at Rogers Behavioral Health’s Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. She worked as a Behavioral Specialist in the Adolescent Depression Recovery Program before transitioning into a role as a Family Therapist across a variety of child and adolescent programs.

Personal Statement:

I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults of all ages as well as families and couples. I am skilled in helping individuals manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, negative thinking patterns, improving relationships, and life transitions. I help clients learn how to tolerate and cope with emotional distress, while gaining insight into past experiences and how they have shaped you. 

My approach is direct and honest, while also compassionate and authentic. I strive to meet my clients where they are at and help to encourage and empower them to make meaningful changes in their life.
