Jenessa Hadzic, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Jenessa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides individual therapy for adults across the lifespan. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. 

Jenessa has worked with diverse populations in a variety of clinical settings. She works primarily with individuals and brings identified family members into session as needed. Jenessa has expertise working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. She partners with clients to teach them tools to learn how to cope more effectively and begin to experience relief from these symptoms. Jenessa values creating a space where her clients feel both supported and challenged to grow. Jenessa also has aided clients in navigating life transitions and relationship issues. Jenessa is dedicated to supporting client’s mental wellness during the perinatal period. She is currently enrolled in advanced training to seek certification as a Perinatal Mental Health clinician through Postpartum Support International.

Personal Statement: 

Unwanted anxious thoughts can feel debilitating, scary, and isolating. They can become oppressive and keep us from living the life we desire. In our work together we will collaborate to challenge and reframe self-defeating thoughts and patterns. We will identify your strengths, discover possibilities for change, in order to promote healing. Providing a safe, empathic, and validating space is my highest priority when partnering with you to reach your goals. I recognize the strength and vulnerability it can take to reach out for support. I consider it a privilege to aid my clients in navigating the change they are seeking from therapy.
