Stefanie has been in private practice for 5 years where she helps individuals and families to sort through daily challenges ranging from depression, anxiety, communication difficulties, low motivation, loss and relationships. She also provides divorce mediation to couples looking for a solution-focused alternative to litigation.
Stefanie incorporates an interactional relational approach to treatment by helping clients to build on their strengths, understand unhealthy life patterns, and access their resources.
The issues Stefanie has helped individuals, couples, and families with in psychotherapy include:
- Personal and Relationship Growth
- Conflict Resolution
- Women’s Issues
- Grief and Loss
- Divorce Mediation
Divorce Mediation is an opportunity for couples to be responsible for their own solutions. Stefanie ensures that all sides are heard and that decisions made are in the best interest of the participants. With Stefanie’s guidance, participants make informed decisions, rather than having a judge make decisions for them.
- Cost effective
Stefanie is a provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois ppo.
Both in therapy and mediation, my mission is to support and empower clients to achieve personal growth and more satisfying relationships. I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, who are experiencing emotional distress and who are looking for direction.
Using an interactive approach, I work with my clients to gain insights, identify unhealthy life patterns and resolve self-defeating communication patterns. It is my goal to support individuals and couples as they navigate the often overwhelming circumstances of loss and change.
