Lisa Lemke, LMFT, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Lisa Lemke has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 10 years and a Certified Life Coach.  Ms. Lemke has offices with Affiliates in Counseling at both their Downtown and Naperville locations. She works with adults, couples, and families. Lisa specializes in the treatment of trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, spiritual issues, relationships including working through affairs and divorce, and life transitions.


Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from John F. Kennedy University with a Specialization in Transpersonal and Somatic Psychology. After graduating from JFKU she moved to Florida where she was a Clinical Supervisor at a nonprofit organization working with military families, traumatized children/adolescents and their families. Over the years, Lisa continued her training in Neurolinguistic Programing and Holographic Memory Resolution. HMR, developed by Brent Baum, is a leading-edge mind-body therapy that allows expedient access to past memories and complete resolution of the painful emotions associated with these events without having to re-live them.

Personal Statement

I believe the client is the expert and I work collaboratively to help the client reach their goals. My style is warm, compassionate and interactive, yet direct and insightful. I will help you navigate towards the life you prefer to be living. I especially enjoy working with adults, older teens, and couples going through a major life transition, recovering from trauma or, looking for renewed meaning and direction.

My deep understanding of the interrelationship between mind, body and spirit allows for healing all facets of the human energy system. My client’s often resolve and change deep seated negative patterns and cognitions resulting in a greater capacity for intimacy, joy, inner peace and confidence.
